Bentall 5 has the distinction of being Vancouver’s first vertically-phased office tower.  

Bentall 5 is located at the core of Vancouver’s Financial District on an L-shaped site at the intersection of Burrard and Dunsmuir Streets. With Burrard Street to the west, Dunsmuir Street to the south and the redeveloped YWCA building to the east, a public pedestrian access route bisects the site east-west. Parking and loading access are located off the lanes that bound the site to the north and east. Building height is limited to the 450 feet (137 m) and spectacular views are available from the upper levels in all directions, especially to the north and west.
