360 West 2nd

360 West 2nd is a commercial building in mount pleasant, with 3 floors of office space, 2 floors of manufacturing and 3 floors of below grade parking at the confluence of three streets – West 2nd, West 3rd and Alberta, with amenities in basement floor, and an impressive outdoor deck and green roof.  
Massing strategy adopted for site is a direct response to unique site geometry, program and zoning. The building is divided into two masses, with lower ‘manufacturing’ mass filling the site, while upper ‘office’ mass is set back from neighbours to south and west, to provide outdoor areas with good solar orientation. The project recently received development permit from City of Vancouver, and design team is currently working towards building permit, with construction scheduled to start in summer 2020.
