1555 McKenzie is a mixed-use rental development at the corner of Shelbourne and McKenzie in Saanich, BC. The project represents the realization of the Shelbourne Valley Action Plan which will redefine the character of the Shelbourne Valley.

To meet these objectives MCM developed a building concept that prioritizes placemaking, livability, which reflects the Shelbourne Valley Action Plan’s recognition of the site as a critical node in the region. The project consists of five stories of rental residential housing above a mixed-use ground floor that includes, retail, residential townhomes, enclosed parking, and services. The architectural concept engages the public realm at all edges on the ground floor while presenting a carefully articulated residential massing above.
