Emerald Park Place, a 19-storey residential tower, occupies a complete block in Phase II of the Collingwood Village development. It is conventiently located adjacent to Vancouver's public transit system's Skytrain station at Joyce Street and Vanness Avenue in Vancouver, BC. The main residential tower rises from a 6-storey base and fronts onto a major park. A 6-storey wing to the east and a 4-storey wood frame building to the south enclose a private courtyard within the project. A 3-storey parking garage is located below the buildings and courtyard.
A variety of bachelor, 1-bedroom, 1-bedroom and den, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom layouts make up the total 246 units of which 25% are family-oriented. Smaller, more efficient unit layouts combined with proven construction techniques result in “affordable” housing which is part of the original mandate of the development.
