This ambitious 150,000 sq.ft. expansion and revitalization of Vancouver Aquarium focuses on creating a more civic clarity of the Aquarium's identity and imagery; an international destination within Stanley Park. The Master Plan consists of a new Arctic Canada Habitat exhibit, revitalized and expanded BC Coast exhibits, the development of four, free public viewing areas. In addition to the new and expanded exhibits, the reconfiguration of a new entrance, accompanied by a public plaza, new washrooms and bistro restaurant is planned to enhance the public's experience to the Aquarium. Avison way will also be realigned to accommodate a more effective control of vehicle and pedestrian traffic to the Aquarium.
