Pender Place

The Pender Place Link and Lobby Renovation Project was undertaken to modernize the lobbies of the existing office towers at 700 and 750 West Pender Street and connect them to the Pacific Centre Shopping Mall.  
The limited space between the office towers on Pender Street was to be utilized efficiently to produce a suitably spacious entrance. To achieve this, a vaulted glass-covered atrium structure was constructed. The north/south orientation of the link and atrium maximizes the light penetration in spite of the narrow southern exposure. This assists in creating a transparent, inviting entry from the shaded north side of Pender Street.
