Tillicum Mall Mixed Use Development includes the design of two wavy-shaped towers providing 280,000 square-foot residential areas. These 12-storey and 9-storey towers accommodate about 300 residential units as well as 14,000 square-foot retail areas at the ground level which will be integrated with the existing shopping mall. Newly developed pedestrian and vehicle networks including transit and cycling will be connected into existing networks and with current amenities including trails to and from the Mall and Cuthbert Holmes Park. The ecological protection and restoration is particularly important for this project due to its proximity to a salmon-bearing river (Coloquitz River) and Garry Oak ecosystems. This project is also committed to the fundamentals of sustainability as measured by LEED®.
