Ningbo River Gate Community Master Plan

Ningbo is a city on the coast of China, south of Shanghai, which is currently the object of a great deal of interest and development. One day it will be linked to Shanghai by a 35 km transoceanic bridge currently under construction. MCM is at work on a Master Plan for a new community in Ningbo on a downtown riverfront site. The concept involves a series of distinct neighbourhoods with water as the unifying element. Ningbo River Gate will be a major new residential development supported by commercial and civic facilities. Our collaborators on this project are PWL Landscape Architects and HKG Hopping Kovak Grinnell, who have offices in both Vancouver and Shanghai.
