Bentall 5, the latest addition to the Bentall Centre office complex, is a AAA-rated building located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, BC's business district, at the corner of Burrard and Dunsmuir Streets.

Bentall 5 Phase 1, completed in October 2002, comprises a 22-storey office tower, 7-level underground parking structure and landscaped plaza. Curved east and west facades give the glass-and-metal structure a distinctive form. The glass provides high-energy efficiency and permits visual penetration, creating an impression of lightness and maximizing the impressive views from the upper storeys. Bentall 5 will grow to 33 storeys in Phase 2 (currently under construction - see Bentall 5, Phase 2 under "Current Projects", and a pavilion will be added to its plaza. This is Vancouver's first vertically-phased office tower.

Bentall 5 qualified for a CBIP grant from the Federal Government by reaching reduced energy - use goals. This is the first office tower in Vancouver to do so.
